Sunday Post #59

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share new about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

~~~~~~~~~~
I swear, being on vacation is more work than going to work and the normal routine each day. I am exhausted! Around the holiday of the Fourth of July we spent time with different friends and went to the amusement park for the day as a family. Then through the week I got to watch kiddo at football practice and get a few things done around the house. Then a dear friend of ours had a graduation party for their daughter yesterday and I help take care of the buffet line so they could socialize and talk with the guests. If you've done any parties you know you can't do both, so I jumped to help. Now my feet, back, and shoulders are aching. lol.
I was hoping to return with loads to share on the number of words I created and the books I read. Sadly I'm in the same place I was a week ago. I did get new words made and re-written but nothing of the sort that I was hoping for. Also, now I have the blog to get caught up on. I will work at getting to commenting back to everyone on the posts from the last week. I hope you check out the posts and enjoy them. :)
Now, back to our regularly scheduled program. (thankfully) Now, I have lots of emails and blogging items to get caught up on. Have a great week!
I'm looking for Blogs to join me with posting Author Guest Posts for Skyla Dawn Cameron  -- I have a amazing author friend that is doing a book tour. It's for guest posts by her only. If you'd like to join (I'm hoping you will. ;) ) please let me know. It's a Werewolf turned human book with a Young Adult vibe to it with being in high school.
  5. It was good of you to help. I was on vacation last week too but it was quieter than yours. Good luck with the writing!
  6. I am really enjoying the Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences. I recently finished book two on audio and plan to start 3 soon. Summer is always crazy for staying on task. I hope you meet some of your goals this week.
  7. Ironically you'll probably read more during the week than in weekends now that it's summer, Melissa! Enjoy catching up and have a lovely week! :)
  8. It's funny how we usually need a vacation to recover from out vacations, but at least you weren't bored! :)
